The Client
Giovani is a Slovak e-shop selling perfumed laundry oils as an alternative to fabric softener, alongside laundry gels, body perfumes, diffusers and car fragrances. A Shop of the Year winner for Quality and Popularity with over 1.6 million customers across the EU — but unknown to German shoppers, with no presence on Amazon.de. The goal when we started in January 2026: prove that Amazon can be an additional, profitable revenue stream without sacrificing margin. In a category where the shelf is dominated by corporate giants and most top listings are sold and shipped by Amazon itself.
What We Did
Phase 01
Seller account registration, verification, VAT and compliance — the unglamorous groundwork that blocks most brands before they even start selling in Germany.
Phase 02
We manage the portfolio end to end — titles, main and secondary imagery, and descriptions built to convert the German shopper. Products that don't earn their keep get cut; new ones get added.
Phase 03
Campaigns, keywords and budgets tuned continuously — maximizing return while pushing products up the organic rankings for the keywords that matter. More stable organic sales, less dependence on paid reach, average TACOS held near 12%.
Phase 04
Since April 2026 we've used deals strategically — not blanket discounts, but targeted pushes that maximize both sales velocity and profitability, feeding the organic flywheel.
The Results
Relative monthly revenue since the January baseline — hover the bars for month-over-month growth
Growth only counts when something is left over. Net profit here is revenue excl. VAT minus marketing spend minus cost of goods — and it has compounded nearly 4× since January, even while we invest into growth pushes.

TACOS — ad spend as a share of total sales (~12% average)
From takeover to a €1M annual run rate on top of the client's own e-shop — the journey so far, and the road ahead

The Breakthrough
Amazon.de Best Sellers, Fabric Deodoriser category. Seven of the top eight listings are sold and shipped by Amazon itself — Giovani is the only third-party seller holding a position among them.

"It is very hard to compete with Amazon's own listings — being the only third-party seller in the top 8 is a big achievement for the team."

Beyond Sales
When a German shopper doesn't know a brand, they check Amazon. Today they find Giovani there with reviews from satisfied customers — credibility that converts shoppers who would never have bought from the brand's own e-shop. The effect shows up in the data: branded searches for Giovani on Amazon.de grew from 1,700 in January to over 3,000 in September, and more than 500 customers have locked Giovani into their recurring Subscribe & Save orders.
What's Next
The client has entrusted us with additional countries, which we're launching alongside Amazon.de — scaling up wherever the economics make sense. At the current pace, Amazon is on track to add more than €1M a year on top of the client's own e-shop revenue.
